Purpose: |
Originally developed in HyperCard (because of Apple Computer's sponsorship of Kaiser's KP Direct) for use as a Kiosk in medical offices, this program offers self-care information on a wide variety of ailments from coughing to back pain. It also includes Health References about Allergies, Stress Management, Prenatal Care, CPR, etc. Using external commands we were able to use both color and QuickTime animations. In 1996, Kaiser commissioned me to transfer all the graphics, information and animations into a web site. The site is no longer available to the general public, but can be accessed here. |
